* Today - things at work are pretty slow. John is on a cruise this week so it is just Scott and I. He's working on a big report which leaves me with alot of quiet downtime. I think I'll go do some scanning when I feel like getting up from this chair.
* Today - it is raining again. Four days in a row. In Texas in the summertime, you crave rain because it is so dry and so hot and the lakes dry up. However, in September it just rains and rains and usually you are ready for dry heat after a couple days of cool rain.
* Today - I'm trying to get a handle on our crazy calendar. Ash has Tennis matches on Monday; Tuesdays - Tennis Practice from 4p-5p and Tennis Drills from 5:30 - 7p; Wednesdays - Band Practice from 4p-5p and Tennis Drills from 5:30 - 7p. Thursdays - Volleyball games from 5p-8:30; Fridays - Clarinet lessons from 4-4:30p and Tennis lesson from 5 - 5:30p. Sundays - Team Tennis 1 - 3p and Youth Group at Church 6:30-8p. That is the set in stone schedule for the next six weeks. Add to that 2 tennis tournaments on the weekends, 2 volleyball tournaments on the weekends, and a school dance this Friday night and you can see why I now keep 3 calendars. One that stays in my car. One that fits in my purse. One that sits on my desk top at work. I find myself referring to them constantly.
* Today - I'm getting my hair highlighted. Time to go darker for those dreary rainy winter months.
* Today - I need to run to the bank and deposit my Scentsy commission check!! I just love adding money to that account - it means I can buy more Scentsy stuff!!
* Today - I'm pleased as punch with myself for completing the finishing touches on the scrapbook pages I started on Saturday. All said and done, my son's book is caught up thru March of this year!! I completed and put page protectors on 26 pages (that is an entire packet of page protectors).
* Today - I'm excited that my son is feeling much better after a nasty bout w/ a sinus infection last week that caused him to miss an entire week of school and not speak for 3 days. I'm also hoping no one else in the house comes down with it as we do not have time for sick in our house.
* Today - I'm wishing I had more time to spend with my friends.
* Today - I'm tired.
