Last year, my Giving Thanks post was absolutely poetic! I must have been in an extremely reflective and thanks giving mood. Not so much this year but I am still grateful for mostly the same things I was grateful for in 2008 but some things have changed.......
In addition to last year: I'm grateful to my DH that we were finally able to find a weekend to trade my old cursed Grand Prix for a bright shiny black Dodge Charger. I'm also grateful that my DH decided to keep driving his old Envoy for another year or more so we can only have one car payment. I'm grateful that we finally hired a new underwriter at my company because he's nice and actually talks to me. It makes coming to work a little easier. I'm grateful to Scentsy for providing a little bit of fun money (and some great smells in my house). I'm grateful to my dad for letting me from my job with his company - although I miss the money, I do NOT miss the extra work every night. It's nice to have a little free time now and then. I'm grateful to Pioneer Woman, Cathy Zielske and Karen Russel for providing such great blogs to read when I'm bored at work. I'm grateful that my 13 year old does not think I'm a total dweeb. I'm grateful that we had another year with Asta and hope for another one. I'm grateful for my grandmother's who will both be visiting this holiday season.
Most of all I'm grateful for all my family and friends who keep me going each and every day!
