OMG

This is my dear friends T&K and myself standing in front of Bella's truck from Twilight - yes, the real truck used in the real movie! It was purchased by a girl in the DFW area and she brought it to the premiere of New Moon for a few good photo ops! The three of us and all our girls went to see the 8pm charity premiere of the movie at the Movie Tavern in Bedford. Since I just reread the book, all the details were fresh in my mind and I feared I'd be disappointed (again) by the adaptation. I was not, however, disappointed at all. Sure they left out some things and changed some things, but all in all I thought they did a fabulous job of staying pretty true to the storyline. I wished Bella and Jacob had more time together so people that had not read the book could understand the true struggle within Bella when she chooses Edward over Jacob in the end.

I'm so glad we went and cannot wait til June of 10 when Eclipse comes out. I remember Eclipse being my favorite book when I read all four last year. I'll be reading it again soon to see if that still holds true.

BTW - is it wrong for a 40 year old woman to drool over a 17 year old's chest? Taylor Lautner's six pack is absolutely to DIE for!
